Cheeki is a playful nod to the fantastical “tiki” culture of the 1930’s and “polynesian pop” culture revivals of the 1960’s and beyond. These movements have received criticism over the years for cultural insensitivity and appropriation, all of which are valid. And it is true that like many cultural movements that borrow and are influenced by others, it was sometimes done with little regard for the history and sacred nature of those being borrowed from, but often as well approached with an honest respect and appreciation for these same things.

It is in this spirit that Cheeki was conceived.

It is a good fuck totem. A randy little symbol of adventure, fun and playfulness. Please enjoy.
